RUMA is now running the 2 x Roland VS2480, 32 track, 24 bit, 96kHz sampling digital studio workstation fully loaded with all the latest VS8F/3 plugins and pitch correction with Presonus V-Fire into a latest version of Cubase 4.1
32 tracks of audio can be simultaneously recorded at once, 16 V tracks per track giving 384 tracks to record on.
Cubase 4 records 16 tracks simultanously making these two units very compatible in any situation.
We also have a tonne of effects including waves plugins and lexicon reverbs etc.
We use Dynaudio BM6A Studio Monitors.
These were founded in Denmark in 1977 and are still hand made in Denmark today.
Most studios in the world have a pair in their studios.
We master with Sound Forge 8 using high quality plug-ins.
The majority of our plugins are the industry standard Waves plugins and are used both in our mixing and mastering.
We can also record bands live in the studio. We record, mix and master projects outside of our studio as well, we prefer OMF files (please call us to get instruction on how to prepare these properly). An acoustic mix takes anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours per song and consists of adding dynamic processing, effects, panning, EQ, and detailed automation.
A full mix usually takes anywhere from 3 to 5 hours per song and consists of the same things that an acoustic mix contains but requires more time due to more tracks, processing.
